Ingredients

Sandwich

  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 2 lbs chicken tenders
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika
  • 1 Avocado
  • 6 slices Bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheese optional
  • 12 slices Bread

Copycat Chick-Fil-A Sauce

  • ½ cup mayo
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup BBQ Sauce
  • 2 tbs Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup lemon juice

Instructions

  • In a medium skillet heat, cook bacon until done*.
  • In a separate pan add olive oil over medium heat and then add the chicken tenders to the pan. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Cook for about 5 minutes, flip, sprinkle with more seasonings, and cook until done. About another 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove from pan and make the chick fila sauce whisking together all the sauce ingredients.
  • Slice the avocado and build your sandwich.
  • Enjoy!
  • I recommend refrigerating any leftover sauce up to a week!

Notes

*You can use the bacon grease to cook the chicken in instead of olive oil if you want. *Nutrition calories are skewed since they include dividing up all the sauce between each sandwich when in reality you will only put a few table spoons on each sandwich.  *Chick-fil-a sauce recipe adapted from house of yumm.
